The depth of talent and innovation of the Seattle design community is immense, and on October 3rd, 2011, NB Design Group had the opportunity to celebrate the city's design excellence at the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter's INawards at the ACT Theater. One "Best of Competition" designation was given in each of 6 juried categories and "Honorable Mentions" were given at the Juror’s discretion. NB Design Group submitted the Lake Washington Modern project for "Best IN Home", and was humbly awarded top prize.

Best IN Concept: Samsung International Hospital [NBBJ]

Events like the IIDA INawards is a great reminder of why we are designers. To have the opportunity to directly affect the environments that people interact with on a daily basis is a privilege that should be taken seriously.
