Nancy Burfiend received her B.F.A. from the University of Washington in 1983, and has been principal of NB Design Group since 1988. Nancy's broad range of experience includes commercial, public sector and residential projects. Her residential projects range in scale from 500 to 16,000 s.f. and span from Seattle to New York City. A member of ASID and IIDA, she has won several design awards. Among the most recent in 2009 are First Place Northwest Design Awards, Bathroom, Second Place Northwest Design Awards, Whole House, Four Seasons Residence, and Honorable Mention IIDA INhospitality, Vida Wellness Spa Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle. She successfully consults and collaborates with many well respected architectural firms in the Seattle area.
