Modern styling infused with vintage Hollywood glamour make up the eclectic interior composition of the Palm Springs Guest Suites. Originally built for Lord and Lady Hanson, the guest suites are part of the 1.6 acre estate known as Norwood West. Completed by Seattle interior designers, NB Design Group, the updated suites offer luxurious king beds and full in-suite baths, making them a hip and glamorous home away from home. The two suites are distinguished by their defining color palettes and are referred to by the homeowners as the ‘Yellow Room” and the “Green Room”. To dress the spaces, NB Design Group mixed new furnishings with vintage pieces by Milo Baughman, Sirmos and Karl Springer. The sleeping areas are kept light with subtlety patterned carpeting and crisp, white bedding. Bold wallpaper and saturated colored fabrics bring energy into the rooms. Large-increment porcelain tiles provide a durable entry material for guests coming in from the swimming pool area. The in-suite baths are a continuation of the modern glam aesthetic. Custom Greek-key inspired mirrors reflect vividly colored mosaic wall and floor tiles in strong & continuous geometric lines. Floating cabinetry clad in a quartz composite contain square under mounted washbasins. Rolled white towels keep the space feeling fresh and welcoming.
